Thank you for making this video explaining Odysee and how it works. I got copyright striked and I couldn't do anything about it. I am tired of dealing with UA-cam over the years and was desperately searching for UA-cam alternatives. Hopefully Odysee and other UA-cam competitors like Rumble rise up so UA-cam can no longer be a monopoly, have real competition and start to treat smaller creators better to have us stay here.

The tiktok children aren't ready for this discourse but Doom Eternal is bad because it took away the flexibility of the player and their arsenal and instead distilled it down to Simon Says, creating the most boring QTE of a video game in existence. The developers of Doom Eternal not only do not understand what made Doom so magical, they had far too heavy of a hand in guiding the player to specific strategies and playstyles. Weapon mods in 2016 were there to compliment your arsenal, they ranged from crowd control, to burst damage, to general utility, and then in Doom Eternal they're turned around into a necessity. It's like a bunch of college game design graduates who have played maybe 2 video games in their lives, none of which had "Doom" in the title by the way, and said "Oh, this should be MORE ingrained in the sandbox, because that's good game design!" It reeks of pretentious game dev graduate shit. The low ammo counts also seriously hurt the game's sandbox massively as well. It would be one thing if your ammo counts were higher, but they're less than 1/5th of your ammo in Doom and almost half that of Doom 2016, and it's justified with the inclusion of a "Press X to Shoot More" chainsaw, which is really more of a crutch to solve a problem that was artificially created by bad game design. See, the problem with the whole, "use this weapon mod on this specific demon to kill them faster" shit is that it wouldn't be as offensive if the ammo counts weren't so terrible. If you get rid of the bad ammo counts then the player is a lot more free to experiment with these secondary fires as they please. Ultrakill is a great example. There's a lot of secondary fires that are great for specific enemies, but they aren't dedicated win buttons like they are in Doom Eternal, and the player is free to experiment with them ultimately in style and experimentation. (Sidenote, this is why Ultrakill is more enjoyable than Doom Eternal for me; I highly recommend even the most fiercely loyal Doom Eternal fanboy play it and immediately understand why it's so loved.) Specific weapons are so effective against specific demons however that it becomes a matter of "If you use any other specific weapon on this demon, you are wasting your ammo." Why deal with, say, a Cacodemon with a Plasma Rifle, when the Grenade Launcher or the Shotgun Grenade exist? You're wasting ammo at that point, and it's so tight that you would actually be *punished* for playing outside of the developer's incredibly naive perspective on combat. That is fundamentally the problem, or rather, those two problems *together* are the problem. The platforming, while incredibly dumb and out of place, is fine. Every fight taking place in a boring, circular arena with teleporting in enemies instead of traditional map design would be fine, too. The story being a mess of cheap, dumb bullshit that isn't even remotely as cool as the past games would be completely fine, but when the gameplay is this controlling, and this tightly against player freedom and expression, something that was one of the biggest design pillars of 2016, you get a game that is ultimately mediocre slop. Just because you can execute what the developers want you to execute as quickly as possible doesn't mean that it's a good Doom game. It just means you can play Simon Says at a high level. That doesn't mean Simon Says is peak game design, it just means you're really good at a children's toy, and for some reason you are *extremely* upset about anyone criticizing that.

I love this movie and I think it's a good movie. Those who don't like this movie are the one who would beat up a baby or kick a basket of puppies.

Hi! thank you so much for the link for this awesome port! just a few things I wanna mention/ask tho: 1. the game has severe screen tearing issues because there it has no vsync option by default but I managed to force that from the nvidia control panel and now I no longer have that issue! 2. how do I override the original controls of the game? having a ds4 profile setup I can still tell that its clashing with the game's default controls because pressing X (ps4 controller) for example shifts to reverse (which is what I had it changed to) but also brings up the menu for whatever reason, and pressing O both shifts to drive (which is what I had it changed to) and jumps. some help with that would be very appreciated as I've been really looking forward to run this on my PC.

respectfully. idsoftware games have always been experimental and innovative, ever since Wolfenstein3D. from what i can understand it feels like you want doom eternal to be a slaughtermap instead of something new or innovative, I'm glad the id developers don't listen to players like you. a few other points i want to address: 1) i can agree 2016 implemented story elements in a more interesting way, but you can always still skip cutscenes in eternal, the plot can be ignored completely. 2) you can't punch weaker demons because the developers want you to focus more on the guns. 3) you aren't forced to play a certain way, there are many options to do many things, especially since runes are a thing here. 4) you keep running out of ammo because you're not using the chainsaw, which puts the responsibility of ammo management not on the mapper, but you, the player, and that's cool. 5) the way you summarize the combat loop is very dismissive and ignorant. 6) the combat is boring because you suck at it, and you're too stubborn to learn it, sorry if i sound mean. 7) "doesn't feel like doom" doesn't mean anything, as i said, idsoftware isn't scared to innovate and change their IPs, most doom games are incredibly inconsistent, one is a boomer shooter, another is a survival horror and the list goes on. 8) and finally, the last point. doom eternal isn't a classic boomer shooter, but more of a character action game, kinda like devil may cry or ninja gaiden, it is very different from the other doom games and its fine if you don't enjoy it, i don't enjoy souls games, do i want them to change to fit my playstyle? no doom eternal doesn't need to be classic doom redux, it has its own identity, the same way i don't want doom the dark ages to be the exact copy of eternal, i want idsoftware to keep experimenting and cook masterpiece after masterpiece.

doom eternal is what happens when you give crack to developers the target audience for that game is people with fried dopamine receptors

I wouldn't advise this. Maybe use something that won't leak all inside the gun when they get old. Don't use Alkaline batteries at the very least. Maybe some old NiCad, or NiMh batteries that have gone bad and you have no use for anymore.

What I want to happen in Shenmue 4 is just an evolution of the story and characters and maybe for the Lan Di character arc to be resolved in some way and for the story progression to be insane.

I have it on my iPhone thanks to a certain Delta app and I intend on 100%ing for the first time. (Even with the touch screen occasionally ruining my flow.)

I own both consoles and the PS4 controller is better then this thing. It feels cheap , insanely loud and everytime i pick up my xbox 360 controller i am like astounished how premium that feels compared to current gen trash controllers by xbox.

I agree for the most part. This is not what I play Doom for, and they ramped it all up to eleven with the DLCs. I have a lot of respect for all the players that have mastered the combat loop and all that and technically it's still a brilliant game but to me it's just so frustrating to play.

I have this on blu ray. To be honest I really liked the first 3 theatrical movies of the Turtles. The first movie was very impressive and it has an offbeat indie vibe which oddly gives it a gritty feel. I didn't see the rest of the later sequels but most of them seemed a bit off. I heard the animated TMNT 4th movie was good. Turtles really doesn't need to change to stay relevant, this is the mistake they make. It was fine the first time around. The 2000s series was quite good. But it really just needed to tell new stories in different eras without the modern weirdo stuff. That would have been easy to do.

My friend tried showing me that new turtles movie and I thought it was a joke 😂. But he was like no this is a real movie that they made. I felt like it was made just to troll ppl lol There no way anyone would actually watch this and think that its good 🤣
